American sterling silver baby cup featuring repousse children playing Follow the Leader in the forrest made by Gorham Silversmiths c.1911. This darling cup measures 2 1/4" tall, 4 1/4" across the handle, 3 1/8" in diameter and weighs 99 grams or 3.2 ozs Troy. The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. Inscribed Charles Meldrum Gray on the bottom of the cup, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. Charles Meldrum Gray was born August 1, 1904 in Columbus Ohio. His parents were Eugene gray and Mabel Sturgeon Gray.
